This workshop has evolved out of conversations with the many people in recovery who have attended my regular classes. Looking for guidance with the meditation piece of their recovery, they find that this approach helps them with spiritual growth, self awareness, & overall improved wellness.
We will learn how to give yourself permission to rest and how to welcome all parts of yourself with your senses wide open. Then we'll explore some techniques and elaborate on the principles of this approach. You'll learn how to welcome a sense of motion, recognize and honor your instincts and intuition, and explore finding meditative moments in your everyday activities from enjoying a cup of tea or coffee to being outside in nature.
The approach taught is based on the biological relaxation response and is not associated with any specific philosophy or religion. Quickly learn an approach to meditation that will help you deal with racing thoughts, have more mental clarity, greater happiness, less stress, & more self awareness. You'll learn the skills and techniques that you can bring into existing moments in your day. The process is easier than you think!
We don't sit cross legged on the floor; we'll be in regular chairs in front of the fireplace! Dress comfortably!
